Malfoid Wiki sets no cookies, runs no ads and does not track you across sites. Visits are counted with Plausible Analytics, which stores no personal data.

## What we collect

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first tool that we host ourselves. It sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you. It records the page you opened, the site you came from, your country, device type and browser, and it never stores your IP address or anything that identifies you.

We also count a few anonymous actions to learn what people use: opening a drawing in the large viewer, clicking through to a post on X, playing a video, opening search, changing the theme, copying a section link and using the Ask AI buttons. Search counts only how long your query was, never what you typed.

There are no ads, no ad trackers, no social media pixels and no newsletter.

## What stays in your browser

If you pick light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device. Site search runs entirely in your browser too.

## Content from other sites

Two things on a page can load from other services, and those services can see your IP address when they do:

- **YouTube videos.** A video loads only after you press play, and then from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's reduced-tracking domain.
- **Ask AI buttons.** These open ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google or Grok in a new tab with the page address in the question. What happens there is covered by their privacy policies.

Drawings, fonts and everything else are served from our own domain. No X scripts or images load on our pages; each drawing links to the artist's original post instead.
