About Malfoid Wiki

Who runs this site

Malfoid Wiki is a small independent project by fans who followed the trend from the first drawing. We started it because the questions people kept asking (what the name means, who drew the first one, why some fans are angry) had scattered answers and very few sources. There are no ads on the site, and nobody pays us to feature their work.

How we check what we publish

Every date on the site comes from the post itself, read from its timestamp, not from a retelling. Like counts come from a snapshot of each post that we refresh once a day, and every count shows the date it was taken. When we quote someone, the quote links to where they said it. Each page lists its sources at the bottom, and if we could not confirm something, we left it out.

A few rules we keep:

• Every drawing carries the artist’s name and a link to their original post on X. We don’t crop, edit or watermark anyone’s work, and when a post is deleted on X it disappears here too.
• We never use AI-generated images of the character.
• Fan fiction we list is rated General or Teen only, and we do not link to adult versions of anything.
• In the controversy coverage we quote both sides, and we do not name ordinary users or show screenshots of harassment.

Corrections and contact

If something here is wrong, out of date or missing, email hello@malfoid.wiki with a link to the page and, if you have one, a source. We fix factual errors as soon as we have checked them, and the page date changes when we do.

Artists who want a post removed can use the same address. The steps are on the disclaimer page, and we handle those requests within 24 hours. How we treat your data is on the privacy page.
