masoq095's 'Slytherin girl ragebaits herself': Harry has outgrown her, and she demands he kneel so she can look down at him again. 'Since when did you get so tall, POTTAR!' is the Pottah joke at its most quoted.
Slytherin girl ragebaits herself
Most Malfoid memes are one joke: she insults Potter, then she blushes. On top of that, fans built a set of running gags, from “Pottah” and “my father will hear about this” to the Walmart Slytherin robes and “guys, pack it up”.

Every Malfoid meme runs on one beat. Draco Malfoy, redrawn as a girl, says something cruel to Harry Potter, and then she blushes. The insult is usually a real Draco line from the books or films; the blush is the joke. That is the tsundere formula from anime, and it is why the Malfoid meme spread so fast after @redteneri’s drawing on September 22, 2026: anyone who knew Draco could get it in one picture[1].
The closest comparison is Bowsette, the 2018 trend that turned Bowser from Super Mario into a princess[2]. Lessons in Meme Culture made the link in a video called Malfoid Is The New Bowsette, and that video became a Malfoid meme of its own, as you will see below.

In the films Draco rarely says “Potter” plainly; he drags it out. Fans spelled that out as Pottah, Pottar or POTTTAH, and it is now the one word every Malfoid meme reaches for. The most-liked Pottah Malfoid meme on this page is masoq095’s, where Harry has grown taller than her and she orders him to kneel; it passed 100,000 likes. xin_cere_art turned the word into a short animated loop.

A short animated loop titled POTTTAH, after the stretched-out way she says his name. It turned the most quoted word of the trend into a face you can hear.

This Malfoid meme takes Draco’s signature threat from the films. It keeps the words and changes the mood. masoq095’s three-pose sheet uses it straight, as a pout. spaz141 has her whisper it while Harry puts a ring on her finger. In Japan, bkub drew her wailing “Father!” while Buckbeak bites her, a nod to the hippogriff scene in the third book.
spaz141 turns the threat into a proposal: 'Oh, Harry... My father will hear about this...' as Harry slips a ring on her finger. The most famous Draco line, now said with a blush.

Pop Team Epic creator bkub's take, posted October 1: a sulky Malfoid in Slytherin robes, plus three gags from Prisoner of Azkaban. Buckbeak bites her as she wails 'Father!', Hermione punches her, and she trips over an invisible Harry.
Draco spends seven books sneering at the Weasleys, and in the fourth book Moody turns him into a bouncing white ferret, a close cousin of the weasel. Put those together and the girl Malfoy is the original weasel. The best-known Malfoid meme of this kind is Kekel0212’s “slytherin weasel” sheet from September 27, at over 100,000 likes: three classic Draco lines and a small white ferret sitting at her feet. We could not find a single post that coined the exact phrase “original weasel”; it seems to have grown out of posts like this one.
Kekel0212's 'slytherin weasel' from September 27, three Draco lines in one sheet: 'the wrong sort', 'Training for the ballet, Potter?' and a shrieked 'filthy little mudblood'. The small white ferret at her feet is Draco's own punishment from the fourth book.

This Malfoid meme gets searched a lot and is hard to show. The line comes from a comic posted on X around September 24, 2026, in which she demands that Harry let go of her. The post has since been deleted, and its artist said the comic was heading into adult content, so we don’t link it or describe more of it. Most of the talk about it now happens on Reddit. The phrase also sounds exactly like something Draco would say, which is partly why it caught on.
The darkest Malfoid meme borrows the bathroom duel from the sixth book, where Harry casts Sectumsempra on Draco without knowing what it does. Fan versions have her hesitate mid-curse because she has already fallen for him, and Harry fire first. Many of these drawings show the wounds in detail; we leave those out. ammonoid9’s rough sketch page is the earliest we found that tells the joke without blood.
A rough sketch page of the bathroom duel from the sixth book: she starts a Cruciatus, falters, and Harry fires Sectumsempra first. It is one of the earliest takes on the darkest Malfoid scene, drawn without blood.

On October 2, ten days in, someone posted a screenshot of the Lessons in Meme Culture video with one line: “Guys, pack it up. The fun’s over.” The idea is that once a meme explainer channel covers a trend, the trend is dead. It became a Malfoid meme in its own right and got quoted endlessly, which proved the opposite. The Malfoid meme was still producing new comics a week later.
'Guys, pack it up. The fun's over.' Posted October 2 over a screenshot of Lessons in Meme Culture's 'Malfoid Is The New Bowsette'. The joke: once that channel explains a trend, the trend is dead.

'Slytherin robes out of stock at my Walmart. Probably nothing.' A real shelf on October 4: Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor robes in stock, the Slytherin slot empty. Know Your Meme filed it under Malfoid.

Dora-ko (ドラ子), the Japanese pun on Draco's name: ko is a common ending for girls' names, so Draco becomes Dorako. amamoto_taiyo's drawing of her laughing on a chair is the one English posters quoted when they picked it up.

Kekel0212's 'chudblood', a play on mudblood: Malfoid holds their baby and tells Harry 'Looks like I won this one!' while Dumbledore watches from the afterlife. The pun pokes fun at the fans drawing her as much as at Draco.

The Malfoid meme is fan art of Draco Malfoy as a girl who mocks Harry and then blushes. It went viral on X from September 22, 2026, and spun off running gags like “Pottah”, the original weasel and “guys, pack it up”.

Both are a famous character redrawn as a girl that flooded social media in a week. Bowsette did it to Bowser in 2018; Lessons in Meme Culture's video “Malfoid Is The New Bowsette” made the comparison stick.
Fans joked it was over on October 2, when a meme explainer channel covered it. New comics and art kept coming through the second week of October, so not yet.
